Our Philosophy
The Internet...
In today's online world it is easy for everyone to reach out to the masses with the minimum requirements: a personal computer and an internet connection. The Internet itself is built with the most democratic, and fair towards all sides, rules and is at present the most open and free human construction. It is above races, countries and corporations - the Internet is an international community.
Our Services...
As the Internet provides everyone with the same opportunities, a small company online has the best chance yet to rival the dominance of big corporations. With these thoughts we created our SOHO business, K&D Interactive (KDI), and we worked hard to make it what we wanted it to be: a place where anyone can find free (or really affordable), and above all useful, services. Although our target groups are mainly youths, we think that our professional experience on the Net and our efforts in building KDI have provided the online community with quality websites for all to enjoy.
Common Good...
People from all around the world visit our pages and we try to make sure that we build our web sites respecting everyone's needs and not forcing others to fit into our user model. The beauty of the web is that it can be anything you want it to be. For some people is a resource of information, for others a tool to show off their artistic or business expertise and for others just a cool place to hang out. You decide what you want your Internet to be...You can build it piece by piece, and we will be here to help you in any way we can...
Open-source...
We believe in not re-inventing the wheel whenever possible. Some of the tools which we use come straight from the open source repository. We are big fans of open-source software. It has helped us a big deal to grow our business by providing us with the tools we needed to accomplish our goals. We like using it and contribute to its development in any way we can. "Give back to the community like the community gave you", that is our moral around here. We believe in the idea of free distribution of software and sharing the knowledge we've gained with everyone. We believe that this is the way of the future and we will support it in any given occasion.
